Sparkle in the marie set, a 1940s dress and bolero set from Samuel Spiegel Incorporated! The baby pink color has not lost its gorgeous hue over the years. The dress is a simple sleeveless a-line midi dress with an embroidered skirt and straight neckline. It even has pockets! The bolero buttons up the front with a thin lapel collar and sleeves that turn up at the hem for a beautifully tailored look. The chunky embroidery is embedded with elegant pearls that add an extra touch of class to this stunning set. Dress and bolero not sold separately. Shown on a size XS mannequin.

NOTE: The dress has built-in boning that may eventually require some TLC (some is poking through on the inside), but it is still very comfortably wearable & holds its shape nicely. The embroidery is in excellent condition for a piece of this age, although there are some scattered snags here and there.
